FUNDRAISING

There are all sorts of ways to help

Running a sanctuary requires a huge amount of resources and time. In order for us to continue, we truly need your support.

  • Silent Partners
  • Commercial sponsorships (Books)
  • Volunteering
  • Animal housing
  • Joining our HVF Sanctuary club
  • Donating items such as scrap food, blankets, hay, bailage, bedding and rugs

All these items are a large chunk out of our budget and every little bit helps.

To save ecommerce fees we prefer you join us direct and use our direct payment options.

The Friends of the Hidden Valley Farm Sanctuary Club (also know as *The Club) exists to support the ongoing care, wellbeing, and protection of the animals living at Hidden Valley Farm Sanctuary.

The club brings together people who share a love for animals, nature, and compassionate living. Through membership support, the club helps provide food, shelter, veterinary care, and safe lifelong homes for the sanctuary animals.

The club also offers members the opportunity to stay connected with life at the sanctuary and to be part of a community that values kindness, nature, and animal welfare.

  • A regular Sanctuary “Seasons News” newsletter sharing stories from the animals and life on the farm.
  • Inclusion in the monthly membership draw, where one member receives a cash prize from the monthly membership pool. (1 draw per person)
  • Opportunities to attend sanctuary open days & events.
  • A 10% discount on stays of two nights or more (subject to availability).
  • Inclusion with other HVF activities that are not related to the Sanctuary itself.
  • Updates and invitations to special sanctuary activities when available.

The sanctuary will do its best to keep members informed, connected, and appreciated as valued supporters of the animals.

More is a blessing! Extra contributions are seen as donations and help provide:

  • animal feed, rugs, and care
  • veterinary support & first aid
  • general foot and teeth maintenance
  • maintenance of shelters and paddocks
  • improvements to the sanctuary environment
  • ongoing needs of the sanctuary operations
  • Each month, one member will be randomly selected to receive a cash prize with the remaining funds supporting the animals and sanctuary operations.
  • The draw will be conducted fairly and announced in the monthly newsletter.
  • Members are given the opportunity to bank the winnings or donate it back. This is kept confidential.

Members of the Club are asked to:

  • Support the values of kindness, compassion, and respect for animals and nature.
  • Treat the sanctuary environment and animals with care during visits.
  • Follow any safety or animal welfare guidelines when visiting the sanctuary.
  • Maintain your membership contributions if you wish to remain part of the monthly draw and member benefits.

Hidden Valley Farm Sanctuary thanks every member for their support and for being part of this special community. We would not be able to do what we do without you.

The sanctuary is open by pre-booking. Options range from:

  • 1 hour
  • half-day
  • full-day

The cost will depend on your group requirements.

We offer wonderful farm holidays in our Hidden Valley Hamlet with camping-style huts and other camping options. It’s simple and fun! This holiday enables you to get up close with the friendly farm pets. Gumboots and rain coats essential.

We advise 3 to 7 night holidays to really appreciate the wilderness and local area, while also relaxing on the farm property.

We offer a personal therapeutic activity with the animals, with a hands-on workshop to immerse yourself in the rhythm of the horse’s heartbeat and enjoy other sanctuary animals.
